Welcome to Metro manila one of the most densely populated cities in the World. The Metro area is home to approximately thirteen million people. Many of the more densely populated area's in Manila have as many as 118 thousand people per square mile and growing, as Manila is on the way to being one of the largest mega cities by 2030 (Philippine Statistics Authority). Demographically Manila consists of a diverse  mixture of people the largest percentage being Spanish and Anglo, followed by Tagalo, Cebuno, Ilacoano and Busay. The major religion in Manila is Roman Catholic followed by a small percentage of Protestants and Muslim populations(Phillipine Statistics Authority). 57 percent of the employed population in Manila is in the service industry, 25 percent in agriculture and 18 percent in the Industry for electronic parts.
